Wes Wigginton joins Home Builders Association of Greater Austin Board of Directors
October 26, 2010
Managing Director, LEED AP, GMB
Wes Wigginton has been elected to the 2010-2011 Board of Directors for the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin (HBA).
The HBA of Greater Austin is a trade association that promotes, protects and educates its members and informs the home buying public.
Since 1953, the HBA has served as the leading not-for-profit trade organization dedicated to residential construction and remodeling in Central Texas. With approximately 800 members, the HBA works with government, public, business and community organizations in five counties to protect every family’s right to home ownership.
The HBA and its members work to ensure that those who protect us, teach our children, and provide essential services can afford to live here. The majority of new homes are purchased by middle-class families – the very people at risk of being priced out of our communities by rising taxes, government fees and regulations.
The Board of Directors of the HBA serves as the organization’s top leadership. Executive Committee members provide guidance to the Board of Directors, the HBA Executive Officer, the HBA staff and HBA member volunteers who serve on committees and councils related to each vice president.

Learn more about a recent interview with Wes Wigginton of Foursquare Builders.
Foursquare just completed the installation of 6.34 KW Photovoltaic system, as well as, a 16,000 gallon Rainwater Collection system for one of their Custom Home clients. According to Wes Wigginton, our clients are extremely excited to see their electricity bills drop to almost nothing, now that they have added the Photovoltaic. Additionally, the clients are living exclusively on Rainwater for all the daily needs. The Rainwater system has been such a hit that they are now adding an additional 10,000 gallons of Rainwater capacity.
Foursquare Builders Interview by Builder Magazine
September 15, 2010
Foursquare Builders has recently completed an interview with Builder Magazine where they were featuring Cozy Cottages. The MILHouse caught their eye and the couldn’t help but include it with other cottages from around the United States. What interested Builder Magazine most was the utilization of many sustainable and green designs and features within such a small home. We are pleased to be recognized by Builder Magazine and you can read more about this article at the following link:
It’s hard to believe that we just poured the foundation for the MILHouse 2.0 on July 21st (2 1/2 weeks ago) and we are now at dry-in stage. Hats off to Matt Carswell for running a tight ship and even tighter production schedule. Oh, he even came in on budget with our trades. If you’re considering building with Foursquare, I encourage you to speak with our current and former clients. We are confident that your concerns or questions will be put to rest, allowing you to embark on a great build process.
